Network Coverage & Device Maps

Locality’s Coverage and Device Maps allow you to track where poor signal strength, older and slower technologies, and dropped connections may be having an impact on mobile worker productivity. You can document these network performance issues by exporting maps to PNG files and by exporting map information to KML files, which can be used in other location-based applications.

Comprehensive Reporting Suite

Locality offers a suite of reports that provide detailed information about devices, network performance, and usage. Locality allows you to filter the data, create custom views, and export information to Microsoft Excel.

Some of these dynamic reports include:

• Technology Availability and Trends Reports – See data usage and trends by network technology generation, such as 2G or 3G
• Network Usage Reports – Analyze data usage by users, carriers, and applications
• Dropped Connection Reports - Provides dropped connection statistics by severity, signal strength, and adapter configuration
• Inventory Reports – A comprehensive list of network adapters correlated to device, user, phone number, carrier, manufacturer, model, firmware revision, IMEI, ESN, and MEI

The Dropped Connections report shows trends in network disconnections by hardware, user, and signal strength.
