Inside Sales Representative
The Opportunity
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is a key member of the NetMotion sales organization. The ISR is responsible for working with their territory sales manager and sales engineer to drive significant revenue growth within their geographically defined region. As part of the territory team, the ISR is responsible for demand generation, lead qualification, closing business as well as acting as the territory's centralized corporate office resource.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads through cold calling and relationships with NetMotion distribution and marketing partners.
- Partner with the territory sales manager and inside sales representative to establish strategy for sales and lead generation for the territory.
- Qualify leads and identify decision makers and key stake holders within an opportunity for follow-up by the territory sales manager or sales engineer for larger opportunities.
- Lead the territory team's efforts for closing smaller opportunities and sales to existing customers.
- Support the territory team in setting-up product evaluations, developing quotes, responding to RFP's, and working through customer and partner contract issues.
- Act as a liason between the territory team and NetMotion's distribution and marketing partners within that territory.
- Maximize the value of NetMotion's CRM database by ensuring the information gathered for the territory is accurate and complete.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of inside/telesales experience in the high-tech industry.
- Track record of success in generating revenue and exceeding quota.
- Experience selling wireless and/or security products to large enterprises is highly desirable.
- Outstanding communication, planning and organizational skills.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP network topology, security, or wireless data desirable .
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as working with web based CRM and presentation applications and databases.
- Experience working in verticals such as insurance, utilities, healthcare, public safety, telecommunications or other vertical with a large number of mobile field workers is desirable.
- Willingness and ability for limited travel.
Compensation
