NetMotion Wireless Appoints Chief Financial Officer
Brian Rice joins management team of industry-leading Mobile VPN solution provider
Seattle, WA – February 6, 2007 – NetMotion Wireless, the industry leading Mobile VPN solution provider, has appointed Brian Rice as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Rice brings 14 years of experience in finance to NetMotion Wireless. Most recently, he was co-founder and CFO of Fovioptics, a medical device company in the San Francisco Bay area where Rice directed all finance, accounting and human resource activities including multiple venture financing rounds totaling $25 million. Prior to founding Fovioptics, Rice was co-owner and CFO of Blue Ridge Medical, a national distributor of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies. Rice also held the position of Finance Manager, and subsequently Treasurer, for Trillium Corporation, a regional real estate, natural resource and investment company. Rice began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young, including a two-year expatriate transfer to the firm’s Paris, France office.
