NetMotion Wireless Announces Support for Microsoft Network Access Protection Technology

Seattle, WA – August 8, 2007 – NetMotion Wireless, a leading provider of mobile productivity and management software, today announced that it has joined the partner ecosystem supporting Microsoft Network Access Protection technology. 

Microsoft Network Access Protection is a policy enforcement technology built into the Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 operating systems that allows customers to better protect network assets from unhealthy computers by enforcing compliance with network health policies. Microsoft’s Network Access Protection technology is publicly available with Windows Vista, and available to select partners and customers with Beta 3 of the future version of Windows Server 2008.

As part of Microsoft’s partner ecosystem for Network Access Protection, NetMotion Wireless will have access to additional tools and resources to support future security enhancement features. NetMotion’s Mobility XE software currently enables mobile workers to maintain and optimize connections to applications as they roam networks and move in and out of wireless coverage areas. Mobility XE also provides administrators with a real-time, system-wide view of device activity; customized policies for improved application and network access management; quarantine capabilities for lost or stolen devices; and bandwidth prioritization for critical transmissions and applications.
