ID Number: 10114 Title: What can I do about "unable to create IP host handler" message?

Summary:
The "unable to create IP host handler" message occurs in the logs of TotalRoam.

Symptoms:
No problems with communication are caused by this error.

Resolution:
TotalRoam uses a driver called PADCOM TotalRoam IM Filter Mini-Port; this driver is bound to all adapters that have been installed on the computer. Once this is installed TotalRoam can use these adapters as transports. If the adapter is unused then TotalRoam will not know what to do with it and creates the "Unable to Create IP Host Handler" message. This message is harmless and has no effect on operation of TotalRoam and should be disregarded by the user.
