FAQ Category: Workaround Updated: 4/28/2005
ID Number: 10202 Title: Status check interval does not change frequency of loopback packets

Summary:
Changes to the Status Check Interval value for Universal DUN adapters that were created during Client installation are ignored by TotalRoam. Instead, TotalRoam continues to use the default value of one second. This does not happen with Universal DUN adapters that are created from the TotalRoam Management Console.

Symptom:
Although the Status Check Interval is changed in the TotalRoam configuration, the actual time between the loopback packets continues to be one second.

Workaround:
Delete the instance of the adapter and recreate it.
